National Child Protection Week is an annual campaign to raise community awareness about child abuse and neglect, with a strong focus on prevention.
2010's theme - 'when we know 33,000 children are abused each year, it's everyone's business' - encourages all Australians to think about how they can help prevent child abuse and neglect in the community.
